The Peacock Room
History of the Art |
We are looking a room that has oil paint on the walls. The artwork was made in 1876 to 1877. Back then people were less fortunate , had less money, and painted more traditional art. The size of the room is a height of 13 feet, a width of 33 ft and 2 inches, and a length of 19 feet and 9 and a half inches. The room has been modified and is not in its original conditions. Time has changed its appearance, because the paint has chipped a little and the room looks duller. To regain its original condition you could repaint some parts, and repair some of it. The materials used are oil paints, gold leaves, canvases, porcelain, and lots of wood. The subject matter is peacocks, and porcelain. The art is a room. Their are many fine details, that viewers may miss. Also the artist made the artwork very organized.
